FRESH, SEASONAL, LOCAL AND SUSTAINABLE
Everything served at Comforts is made using the best quality ingredients. We source produce and meats locally and use organic as much as possible. Our menu changes regularly to reflect what is fresh and in season.
Our beef comes from BN Ranch – raised in Northern California, untreated and without hormones, this natural, organic, and sustainably-raised beef has the reputation for being the most tender and best tasting beef around. From our juicy burgers to braised short ribs and ragouts, you’ll be able to taste the difference for yourselves!
We use organic and air-chilled poultry from Mary’s Chicken, all-natural, free-range, hormone-free chicken for all our entrées and salads, including the famous Chinese Chicken Salad, and we source our seafood approved by the Monterey Bay Aquarium Seafood Watch program.
All of our breakfast pastries and desserts are made fresh daily, in-house, using the highest-quality and seasonal ingredients. Our two dessert cases feature a wide range of assorted housemade cookies, bars, pies, cakes, cupcakes, individual fruit tarts, bread pudding, tapioca and chocolate mousse. We are proud to feature apricot and raspberry bars, as well as Morning Glory and Hungarian Coffee Cake from the popular local bakery, Jane’s Sweet Things. We also carry Atelier Kawashima French-style macarons.
